A closer look

Tensioning and finishing a metal tie

LH-T01 tensions and finishes compatible metal ties. Width, thickness, lock construction and coating affect fit. The grip must contact the tail correctly and the locking head needs its prescribed orientation. Similar operating steps do not establish interchangeability between nylon- and stainless-tie tooling.

Contact and compression around a bundle

Place the tie so its head or cut edge does not rub a vulnerable jacket surface. Review bundle distortion, covered identification and pressure on adjacent cables after tensioning. Greater tightness is not automatically better restraint; use the secured item and mounting arrangement to establish suitable tension.

Finishing the installation

Inspect the remaining tail, collect metal offcuts and keep identifiers and service points accessible. Retain tie material and size information so later replenishment or replacement follows the established restraint arrangement.

CARE & ORGANIZATION

Care & storage

  1. 01

Keep working surfaces and connection parts clean; check for visible damage, looseness and unusual wear before use.

  2. 02

Follow the tool and matched connection-part documentation for use, maintenance and adjustment.

  3. 03

Store away from moisture and impact, keeping accessories and model references with the tool.
