Industrial connectors bring multiple power or signal conductors into an interface that can be assembled and maintained. In a crimp-contact construction, the wire is terminated first and the contact is then inserted into an insulating carrier or housing. The tool acts on the rear wire barrel, not the housing; housing size does not determine the crimper.
LIHENGRIX LH-H04 organizes selection around machined round contacts. Solid machined contacts, stamped-and-formed contacts and screw or cage-clamp inserts require different assembly methods. Identify the termination architecture rather than treating “heavy-duty connector” as a universal crimp specification.

Indenting controls local deformation of the barrel; a locator establishes the axial contact position relative to the tool. Together they determine where the crimp occurs. A contact placed too deep or too shallow may receive symmetrical marks in the wrong location and subsequently fail to seat or retain correctly.
Similar-looking pins and sockets can have different barrels and locating requirements. Associate the contact part number with its locator, wire and tool setting. A tool adjustment scale is a process setting, not necessarily a conductor-size marking; matching numbers do not establish compatibility.
Separate the conductor insertion length from the insulation position before crimping. Check seating using the features actually provided by the contact; an inspection-hole method cannot be assumed for a contact without that feature.
After termination, insert the contact into the correct cavity in the prescribed orientation and verify retention. Use the specified extraction method for rework rather than pulling on the conductor. Shielding, seals and strain relief are separate assembly tasks: a completed contact crimp does not complete the whole connector.
Current, voltage, ingress protection and environmental suitability belong to the specified connector and complete assembly. A crimp tool does not establish an interface protection rating or make every wire suitable for a given current. Tool function, matched components and system requirements need separate descriptions.
A contact part number, wire specification and interface purpose provide a stronger starting point than a housing photograph alone. Photographs help identify construction but cannot replace drawings, assembly instructions and the applicable tooling table.
