A stainless-steel tie tool tensions a compatible tie and removes the excess tail beyond its locking head. It organizes pulling and tail finishing into a repeatable operation for cable bundles, identification plates and installation accessories. Suitable tension depends on both the locking construction and the item being secured; tighter is not automatically better.
LIHENGRIX LH-T01 addresses metal-tie tensioning and tail cutting. Compared with nylon ties, stainless ties differ in band material, locking structure and cut-edge behavior. Use the appropriate tool type; a metal-tie tool does not automatically cover every width, thickness or locking head.

Jacket softness, cable count and arrangement influence bundle compression. Position a tie away from connector exits, sharp bends and vulnerable areas. Where cushioning, coating or brackets are required, treat them as part of the restraint design.
Before repeated installation, establish the method on the actual bundle and check for excessive indentation, distortion or lock movement. Different bundle diameters need not use the same force. Where a tool has tension adjustment, select the setting using both the tool instructions and the secured item.
Tail finishing affects appearance and later contact with technicians, neighboring cables and hardware. Inspect cut location, burrs and projection, and avoid directing sharp edges toward accessible or rubbing surfaces. Gloves do not replace inspection of the tail itself.
Scored tails, tool slip or incomplete cuts call for checks of band compatibility, grip contamination and cutting-edge wear. Repeatedly bending a sharp tail is not a substitute for a suitable finishing method.
Keep gripping and cutting areas clean; metal fragments and oil can interfere with traction. Clean the tool as directed and remove short offcuts from moving areas. Record tie size, batch and surface type with the installation task.
Retain package identification for unused ties and group them by width, length and coating. Loose mixed stock encourages mismatches and exposes sharp ends. Keeping the tool, compatible ties and protective accessories together reduces improvised combinations.
